As we initiate this blog and the new GEOMTRX web site, we reflect on the hard work put in by Tom Rosewall over the past three years, and the contributions of others that have brought us to the beginnings of GEOMTRX. We will endeavor to provide a range of online services to illuminate the overall climate as it relates to projects in the energy and GHG spaces. We will be actively seeking the input and advice from businesses, government agencies, NGOs, consultants and the rest of the carbon community. Our overall mission is to expand the world's view of the climate and the sensitive issues that we all face today.

Biggest jump ever seen in global warming gases

WASHINGTON (AP)   -  The global output of heat-trapping carbon dioxide jumped by the biggest amount on record, the U.S. Department of Energy calculated, 
a sign of how feeble the world's efforts are at slowing man-made global warming.
